What ages and how many children do you enroll?

Play-to-Learn is licensed for 10 children. We strive to provide developmentally appropriate activities, therefore we solely specialize in early childhood from the ages of 1-5 years.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We're licensed by Dakota County Community Services through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

What are your hours?

Play-to-Learn is open Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm. Fees are assessed for late pick-ups. Care is closed on the following holidays: Good Friday, Spring Break (Lakeville School District Calendar), Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Wednesday thru Friday) & Winter Break (Lakeville School District Calendar).

What do you provide and what do parents provide?

Parents are asked to provide their child with a 2 extra outfits, appropriate outdoor attire, and diapers/wipes (if not potty-trained). We also ask that parents provide their child with a daily lunch. Lunches will be refrigerated until eaten and can be reheated in the microwave if necessary.

We provide 2 nutritious snacks per day, tissues, sleeping bags and pillows, pack ‘n plays, etc.

Do you take field trips?

As of right now, we do not provide vehicle transportation to off-site locations. We do, however, take neighborhood walks and walks to nearby parks.

Are you CPR and First Aid Certified?

Yes. Both Ms. Leslie and Ms. Christina are certified in CPR and First Aid through the American Heart Association and renew their training every 2 years.

Do you celebrate holidays?

We have mini celebrations for Easter, Halloween & Christmas.
